Under the supervision of UNFPA APRO SRHR Advisor, the consultant will:
- Conduct an in depth review of data, polices and inequities. An analysis of each of the stated countries needs to be prepared and develop individual country profiles which reflects on the main causes of maternal mortality in each of these countries. To the extent possible the analysis will reflect on inequities in access to and quality of EmONC, skilled birth attendance, family planning, safe abortion. (drivers of maternal death)
- To the extent possible the analysis will also consider factors in the enabling environment which impact on the universality of access to quality care in each of the countries and these may include financial, behavioral or cultural barriers.
- Facilitate a workshop
- Development of roadmaps to zero maternal deaths with actions at country and regional level
