In February, twenty-five young leaders from 11 Asian and Pacific countries took part in an advocacy training and strategy meeting in Bangkok to help ensure that the voices of young people will be heard at the upcoming 45th session of the Commission on Population Development (CPD) in New York, focusing on adolescents and youth. The meeting was arranged by the Asian-Pacific Resource & Research Centre for Women (ARROW) and partners, with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) supporting the meeting. Participants adopted an advocacy statement and prepared a briefing paper note for the young people attending the CPD. Read the meeting report.
