State of World Population 2018: The Power of Choice

calendar_today 17 October 2018

The United Nations Population Fund’s latest flagship State of World Population 2018 report focuses on the power of choice. The report titled 'The Power of Choice: Reproductive Rights and the Demographic Transition' provides insight into how the power to choose the number, timing and spacing  of pregnancies will bolster economic and social progress around the world.

Despite significant progress on this front, no country can claim that its entire population enjoys access to their reproductive rights, at all times. This important report reveals how countries can ensure freedom of choice, for the benefit of all.
