Women and girls endured severe hardship during Nepal’s decade-long armed conflict between Government and Maoist forces, which ended in 2006. This 4-minute video highlights the recently approved National Action Plan to implement UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 1820, which call for women’s full participation in peacebuilding and support for conflict-affected women and girls.
