Ariunbold Shagdar
Mr. Ariunbold Shagdar is serving as the Director of Census and Data analysis department, National Statistics Office of Mongolia as of September 30, 2022. He has almost twenty years of experience in official statistics, in particular survey methodology and data analysis in Mongolia.
He holds an MSc in Applied Statistics from Macquarie University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from National University of Mongolia.
He worked as the team member of 2017 VAW survey at the NSO. He was responsible for designing and testing the study methodology especially sampling design and involved the data analysis, writing with the team.
Oyun Banzragch
Former UNFPA Gender Programme Specialist. Started my career at UN in 1997 and worked at UNDP, WHO, UNFPA for 24 years until August 2023 at different capacities starting from administrative assistant to Programme Specialist in the areas such as HIV AIDS prevention, Adolescent Health Service, Population Development and Gender Equality, Women's Empowerment and GBV prevention and Response. Studied at the Columbia University School of Social Work in New York and awarded a Master's Degree in Social Science. From August 2023 I moved to the next chapter of my life, retirement.
Jessica Gardner
Jessica Gardner is UNFPA's technical lead on violence against women data and research for the Asia-Pacific region. She is dedicated to supporting countries to produce safe and robust measures of gender-based violence. She has nearly two decades of experience working with governments and civil society to produce and use gender statistics effectively.
