Under the theme of 'Eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing Asia-Pacific,' Governments and other stakeholders will meet for the 2017 Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development in Bangkok, Thailand. 

Hosted by the UN's Economic snd Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the regional intergovernmental forum aims to engage UN member States, United Nations and other institutions, and major groups and other stakeholders in dialogue on: 

  • Regional perspectives on the implementation, follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including in depth review of the theme and SDGs: 1, 2, 3, 5, 9 and 14 and 17; and,
  • strengthening implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Asia-Pacific, including the consideration of a draft regional road map for implementing the 2030 Agenda in Asia and the Pacific.
