UNFPA Viet Nam launched the #MpowerHer campaign, a pioneering initiative to address image-based abuse and empower the youth of Viet Nam earlier this year. Reaching over 417,000 people in just 7 days, the campaign engaged young participants through interactive activities, including quizzes, video scenarios, and personal stories, to help them identify, prevent, and respond to digital violence. The campaign's highlight was a #MpowerHer webinar with young leaders, which attracted 31,000 viewers. Through this initiative, young people gained practical skills to combat technology-facilitated gender-based violence, contributing to safer digital spaces. #MpowerHer is a powerful reminder that digital violence is real, but together, with joint efforts, we can build a more inclusive and safer digital world.
