The world's largest scientific conference and global gathering of the sexual and reproductive health and family planning community, the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP), will be held in Pattaya, Thailand between 14 - 17 November 2022. Since the first ICFP in Uganda in 2009, UNFPA has worked as a core organizer of the conference. Together, the core organizing partners have shaped the ICFP into a global movement that provides a platform to the community exchange ideas and evidence-based practices, celebrate achievements, and make important commitments to the sexual and reproductive health and family planning agenda. UNFPA also uses this global platform as an opportunity to showcase its political and technical engagement with countries to end unmet need for family planning.

With the conference being held in Thailand this year, UNFPA's Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) will be actively participating in a variety of events and sessions during the 4-day conference. UNFPA's Deputy Regional Director, Dr. Annette Sachs Robertson, will attend the event alongside UNFPA's Executive Director, Natalia Kanem and Deputy Executive Director, Diene Keita. Furthermore, over 125 countries will be sending delegations to the conference alongside high-level representatives of various international non-governmental orgaizations, educational institutionns and private sector entities.

Please find a detailed listing of UNFPA APRO's participation in the conference from the media advisory attached on this page.
