Davide DeBeni

Davide DeBeni joined the UNFPA Asia Pacific Regional Office based in Bangkok in September 2019 as a Health Economics Adviser, providing technical support to the Region on health economics and financing matters concerning UNFPA’s mandate areas. He has more than 20 years of experience developing and supporting economic and financial analyses across Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Caribbean, and published in peer-reviewed journals. Before joining UNFPA, Davide worked with the World Bank and other UN agencies, developing investment cases, impact evaluations and public financial analyses for maternal, nutrition and sexual and reproductive health programs, including providing strategic advice to governments to identify available fiscal space options.


Tomas Lievens

Tomas Lievens is the Managing Partner of the Human Development practice of Genesis Analytics. He is an experienced social policy economist with expertise in the areas of health, education, social protection and poverty, child protection and social care services, nutrition and water, as well as health and education labour markets. Much of his work is focused on public systems and expenditure performance. Prior to joining Genesis, Tomas was Director of the Social Policy Programme at Oxford Policy Management. Previously he was an Adviser for the International Labour Organisation in Africa, Economics Adviser to the Belgian Minister for international development and consulted with the Dean of INSEAD Business School in France.
